Laser windows are crucial components in laser systems, particularly for applications involving high-power laser transmission, such as laser cutting, welding, and marking. These windows are designed to withstand high temperatures and laser intensity, offering a high damage threshold while maintaining high transmission efficiency. Laser windows are crafted from high-quality materials and coatings that ensure excellent thermal stability and low wavefront distortion, allowing them to function efficiently across a wide range of operational environments. - Coating Quality
- Adhesion Test: Compliant with MIL-C-675C military standards. The test involved applying a tape that meets LT-90 specifications onto the lens film layer. The tape was fully affixed and removed vertically three times, with no blistering or peeling.
- Temperature Test: Following MIL-C-675C specifications, test pieces were subjected to temperatures of -62±1℃ and 71±1℃. The adhesion test was repeated after two hours at room temperature, confirming no film detachment.
- Abrasion Resistance Test: Conforms to MIL-C-675C and CCC-C-440 standards, involving a gauze tester applying a force of 1.0 lbs (0.45 kg) to the film. This test was repeated 25 times with gauze widths of 1/4 inch (6.4mm) and 3/8 inch (9.5mm), with no surface damage.
- Humidity Test: Conducted under MIL-C-675C criteria, where test pieces were exposed to 95%~100% humidity at 49±2℃ for 24 hours. No peeling, scratches, or defects were found.
- Solvent and Cleaning Testing: In compliance with MIL-C-675C standards, test pieces were exposed to acetone and alcohol at room temperature. After cleaning, no signs of peeling or scratches were observed on the surface.
- Salt Spray Test: After 100 hours in a 35°C environment with a 5% saltwater concentration, the window surfaces showed no damage.
