Laser Filters

Laser Line Filters | High OD & Narrow Bandwidth

Laser line filters are precision optical components designed to transmit a specific laser wavelength while effectively blocking unwanted light. They are essential in laser systems where high spectral purity and signal clarity are required.

Shape Optics Technologies (SOT) offers a comprehensive range of laser filters optimized for diode lasers, solid-state lasers, LEDs, and gas lasers. These filters suppress secondary emissions, plasma glow, and stray light, improving measurement accuracy while minimizing thermal load on downstream optics.

With ultra-narrow bandwidth coatings, SOT laser filters significantly enhance signal quality in demanding applications such as laser-induced fluorescence, Raman spectroscopy, and medical diagnostics.

Features

  • High Peak Transmission: >80% peak transmission at the target wavelength
  • Excellent Blocking Performance: Out-of-band blocking up to OD > 5.0
  • Ultra-Narrow Bandwidth: Optimized for high signal-to-noise laser systems
  • IBS Dielectric Coatings: Ion Beam Sputtering (IBS) technology ensures high durability and environmental stability
  • Wide Application Coverage: Suitable for fluorescence, Raman, medical, analytical, and industrial laser systems
  • Customizable Designs: CWL, FWHM, substrate size, and coating performance tailored to your application

Spectrum Transmission Curves

Standard transmission curves are available for common laser wavelengths. For non-standard requirements, customized spectral designs can be provided to match your exact laser wavelength, bandwidth, and blocking specifications, ensuring optimal system performance.
