4. Coating Quality
SOT’s Time-Resolved Fluorescent Filters undergo extensive testing to ensure the highest quality and performance:
- Adhesion Test: Compliant with MIL-C-675C military standards, involving applying LT-90 specification tape to the film, followed by vertical removal three times. No blistering or peeling occurs.
- Temperature Test: Filters are subjected to temperatures of -62±1℃ and 71±1℃. After two hours at room temperature (16℃~32℃), the adhesion is tested again, confirming no detachment.
- Abrasion Resistance Test: In line with MIL-C-675C and CCC-C-440 standards, the abrasion resistance test is conducted with a gauze tester applying 1.0 lbs (0.45 kg) of force, repeated 25 times without damaging the surface.
- Humidity Test: The filters are exposed to a controlled environment at 49±2℃ and 95%-100% humidity for 24 hours. No peeling or scratching is observed.
- Solvent and Cleaning Testing: Filters are exposed to acetone and alcohol for 10 minutes each. After air drying and cleaning with alcohol, no peeling or scratches appear.
- Salt Spray Test: Filters undergo 100 hours of testing in a 35°C environment with 5% saltwater, with no signs of damage.
