Optics Designer

The Role for an Optics Designer

As an Optics Designer at Shape Optics, you will play a key role in the development of high-bandwidth optical imaging systems. Your responsibilities will include characterizing commercial off-the-shelf components and leading the development of custom optical components to achieve lightweight, cost-effective, and high-performance systems.

You will be directly involved in all aspects of the optical design process, including optical assembly, system integration, and test development.

This is a hands-on role where you will face complex and novel optical challenges daily, often working with technical consultants and engineers across Singapore. If you thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and love solving problems that haven’t been tackled at scale before, this role is for you.

At Shape Optics, you’ll learn fast, grow professionally, and make a lasting impact in the world of optical imaging—while having fun along the way.
