2. General Description
Shape Optics Technologies Pte Ltd (SOT) specializes in high-performance Fluorescent PCR Filters, designed for critical applications in quantitative real-time PCR (RT-qPCR) and digital PCR (dPCR). These filters are engineered to offer high transmittance, minimal crosstalk, and a sharp cutoff, which significantly improves the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in PCR experiments. By optimizing the center wavelength (CWL) and full width at half maximum (FWHM), the filters efficiently separate the emission spectra of commonly used fluorophores. This level of precision ensures reliable and accurate results, even in complex multi-channel PCR assays. In addition, SOT offers customizable options to meet specific customer requirements, making them an ideal choice for diverse PCR applications.
Our filters undergo rigorous quality control and are compliant with military-grade adhesion, temperature, abrasion, humidity, and solvent resistance standards, ensuring high performance in demanding environments.
3. Spectrum Transmission Curves
Our standard Fluorescent PCR filters are tailored to meet the needs of a wide range of PCR applications. For customers with unique requirements, we offer the ability to customize filters based on specific wavelength ranges and spectral characteristics. Upon request, SOT can deliver customized solutions to suit any specialized applications in PCR-based research.

4. Coating Quality
The coating quality of our Fluorescent PCR filters is subjected to rigorous tests to ensure superior durability and reliability:
- Adhesion Test: Compliant with MIL-C-675C military standards, this test involves applying tape meeting LT-90 specifications onto the lens film. After applying and removing the tape vertically three times, no blistering or peeling occurs.
- Temperature Test: The filters are tested at extreme temperatures of -62±1℃ and 71±1℃, as per MIL-C-675C specifications. After two hours at room temperature (16℃–32℃), the adhesion is checked again, with no film detachment observed.
- Abrasion Resistance Test: Following MIL-C-675C and CCC-C-440 standards, this test involves applying a minimum force of 1.0 lbs (0.45 kg) using a gauze tester. The test is repeated 25 times without any surface damage to the film.
- Humidity Test: Filters are placed in a temperature and humidity chamber set to 49±2℃ and 95–100% humidity for 24 hours. The film remains intact with no defects, peeling, or scratches.
- Solvent and Cleaning Testing: Filters are exposed to acetone and alcohol at room temperature (16℃–32℃) for 10 minutes each. After cleaning, no peeling or scratches are observed on the film surface.
- Salt Spray Test: After 100 hours in a 35°C environment with a 5% saltwater concentration, the film remains undamaged, demonstrating excellent resistance to environmental factors.
