2. General Description

Shape Optics Technologies Pte Ltd (SOT) offers a comprehensive range of Fluorescence Microscope Filters, which are manufactured using advanced coating processes to meet the stringent requirements of fluorescence microscopy. These filters are designed to provide optimal sensitivity and high-resolution fluorescence imaging by minimizing optical distortion and maximizing light transmittance. SOT’s filters cover the emission spectra of various fluorophores and are carefully optimized to minimize spectral overlap between excitation and emission wavelengths, thus enhancing the quality and clarity of the images. The filters come with a range of standard specifications and can also be customized to suit specific microscopy systems or research applications. These filters are durable and offer long-term performance in demanding experimental environments.

3. Spectrum Transmission Curves

Our Fluorescence Microscope filters are available with different spectral characteristics tailored to common fluorophores. For customers with specialized needs, we offer the option to customize the filters based on specific requirements. Customization can be made based on wavelength ranges, optical density, and transmittance levels to optimize for particular applications.

4. Coating Quality

The coating quality of our Fluorescence Microscope filters undergoes rigorous testing to meet military and industry standards:

  • Adhesion Test: Compliant with MIL-C-675C military standards, the adhesion test involves applying tape meeting LT-90 specifications to the lens film, which is then removed vertically. After three repetitions, no blistering or peeling occurs.
  • Temperature Test: The filters are exposed to temperatures of -62±1℃ and 71±1℃ as per MIL-C-675C standards. The adhesion test is repeated at room temperature (16℃–32℃) after two hours, confirming no detachment of the film.
  • Abrasion Resistance Test: Per MIL-C-675C and CCC-C-440 standards, the abrasion resistance test is performed by applying a minimum force of 1.0 lbs (0.45 kg) with a gauze tester, repeated 25 times without damaging the film surface.
  • Humidity Test: Filters are placed in a controlled temperature and humidity chamber (49±2℃ and 95%-100% humidity for 24 hours), with the film remaining intact, showing no defects such as peeling or scratching.
  • Solvent and Cleaning Testing: In line with MIL-C-675C specifications, the filters are exposed to acetone and alcohol at room temperature (16℃–32℃) for 10 minutes each. After air drying and cleaning with a cotton cloth soaked in alcohol, no peeling or scratches are observed on the film.
  • Salt Spray Test: After 100 hours in a 35°C environment with 5% saltwater, the filters remain undamaged, demonstrating exceptional resistance to environmental factors.
