These filters utilize advanced coating technology, providing high signal-to-noise ratios and ensuring accurate absorbance measurement. The filters are engineered to match the wavelength energy of the light source, detection system, and channel, which guarantees the highest accuracy in measurement, linearity, and consistency.

SOT’s Energy Matching Biochemical Filters are manufactured to meet rigorous standards for durability and performance:

  • Adhesion Test: Compliant with MIL-C-675C military standards, the adhesion test involves applying tape meeting LT-90 specifications to the lens film and removing it vertically three times. The result is no blistering or peeling.
  • Temperature Test: Filters are exposed to temperatures of -62±1℃ and 71±1℃, as per MIL-C-675C standards. After exposure and maintaining them at room temperature (16℃–32℃) for two hours, the adhesion test is repeated, showing no detachment of the film.
  • Abrasion Resistance Test: Conforming to MIL-C-675C and CCC-C-440 standards, this test involves applying a minimum force of 1.0 lbs (0.45 kg) with a gauze tester, repeated 25 times without damage to the film surface.
  • Humidity Test: Filters undergo testing in a controlled temperature and humidity chamber (49±2℃ and 95%-100% humidity for 24 hours). The film remains intact with no defects such as peeling or scratching.
  • Solvent and Cleaning Testing: According to MIL-C-675C specifications, filters are exposed to acetone and alcohol for 10 minutes each at room temperature (16℃–32℃). After air drying and cleaning with alcohol, no peeling or scratches are found on the film.
  • Salt Spray Test: Filters are tested in a 35°C environment with a 5% saltwater solution for 100 hours. The filters remain undamaged, showing exceptional resistance to corrosion.
