As our fiber-optics business expands, we are seeking an experienced Product Application Manager, Fiber Optics to strengthen our customer engagement, technical support capabilities, and global market presence.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Support & Applications
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to global customers.
- Address customer queries through technical meetings, presentations, and other communication channels related to fiber-optic products.
- Understand customer needs and propose appropriate product or system solutions.
Business Collaboration
- Work closely with the Business Development team to fulfill customer requirements and drive opportunities.
- Manage customer programs, ensuring alignment in cost, quality, and delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and program status in company systems.
Technical & Market Engagement
- Participate in local and overseas exhibitions to represent the company’s fiber-optic capabilities.
- Provide expert input on product features, applications, and integration at component and system levels.
- Support internal teams with technical insights on fiber-optic processes, assemblies, and deployments.
Job Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Fiber Optics, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields.
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in fiber-optic applications at component or system level in industrial or commercial sectors.
- Strong technical understanding of fiber-optic processes, optical assemblies, and application environments.
- Effective communication skills and strong business acumen; able to liaise confidently with customers and internal teams.
- Experience working with global customers is an advantage.
